Use Goodtake with Claude or ChatGPT

Before you start

TikTok may flag uploads made by an AI assistant as automated. Use this at your own risk. You can always upload the same video yourself on the same page, TikTok Studio.

You need:

• Goodtake, signed in with Apple or Google.
• Claude, or a ChatGPT plan or workspace that lets you add your own server.
• A browser your assistant can use, such as Claude in Chrome or ChatGPT agent, signed in to your TikTok account.
• To add products, a TikTok account that can add TikTok Shop products to videos. TikTok decides who can.

The connector URL

The same URL is in the app: You, then AI Assistant, with a Copy button.

Add it to Claude

1. In Claude, open Customize, then Connectors.
2. Click Add, then Add custom connector.
3. Name it Goodtake, paste the URL and click Add. Keep the sign-in settings Claude suggests.
4. Click Connect, then sign in with Apple or Google, the same account as the Goodtake app, and click Allow.

On Team and Enterprise plans, an owner adds the connector first, then each person connects their own account.

Add it to ChatGPT

1. On chatgpt.com, open Plugins and click the plus button.
2. Choose Add custom MCP server, name it Goodtake and paste the URL.
3. Choose OAuth for authentication, read the warning, select I understand and want to continue, then Create as a plugin.
4. Install it, then sign in with Apple or Google, the same account as the Goodtake app, and click Allow.

Some ChatGPT plans and work accounts don't allow adding your own server. Your workspace admin can tell you.

Send a video from Goodtake

1. Export your video.
2. Tap Send to My AI Assistant.
3. Check the caption, and add the TikTok Shop product: its name, and its link if you have it.
4. Tap Send and keep Goodtake open until it says Sent.

Your assistant can use the video for 7 days.

Ask your assistant to post it

In a chat with Goodtake turned on, ask: Post my latest Goodtake video to TikTok with its caption and product.

Your assistant opens TikTok Studio, puts your video on the page (it may ask you to choose the file it saved to your Downloads folder), pastes your caption, adds the product with Add link, and sets who can watch. It tells you what it will post and waits for your OK before it clicks Post. If something on the page looks different, it stops and asks you.

Disconnect

In Goodtake, open You, then AI Assistant: Disconnect ends an assistant's access at once, and Delete removes a video you sent. You can also remove Goodtake in your assistant's settings. What we keep: Privacy Policy. Questions: support@getgoodtake.app.
